August ReportThe fishing has been really good this year. The Wahoo seem to be closer in and there are quite a few of them being caught. If you are going offshore, just find a good weed line and you will see lots of Dolphin action. And fishermen are having no problems limiting out on Kings. There were quite a few large Kings weighed in during our offshore tournament last weekend. Hopefully anglers will be able to find them again next month for the MBARA King Mackerel tournament. We also had three boats fishing the Marquardt?s tournament that landed white marlin. Inshore, we have had many reports of anglers catching Tarpon out at Indian Pass and and Crooked Island. The trout and redfish have been slow. Scallop season is well underway. Most people are reporting that they are in deeper water.
